Bangladesh will be eagerly waiting to see how their in-form batter Najmul Hossain performs in this World Cup, considering he is being touted as one of the major backbones of their batting unit. In an exclusive interview with Cricbuzz, Najmul described his transformation as a batsman among other things.

There is nothing like transformation. I think before this phase in my life arrived, I really worked hard on my practice and preparation and worked on specific areas. Before October 2022, what happened was that I was not performing, but I focused on developing my skill and mental aspect of the game. Though I was not having a good time, I always had the belief and worked accordingly. Because I worked on specific areas, now I am getting some success at the international level.

During this time frame, the only time you failed to live up to the expectation was during the home series against Afghanistan. How do you cope when a couple of matches do not go according to your plan?
